SXA trains in small groups to grow foot skill, Futbol IQ, and CTRL.
Performance Training METHODOLOGY
SXA small-group training is built around tight, carefully selected cohorts that create the ideal blend of effectiveness, competition, and camaraderie. With fewer players (minimum 2 – max 6), every session delivers more meaningful touches, sharper corrections, and high-quality reps that mirror match demands.
We focus heavily on innovative training techniques to build advanced ball CTRL, drawing on ongoing research, coach collaboration, and constant iteration to ensure we’re always finding the most effective way to teach skill acquisition. Technology plays a central role — from video analysis to data-informed feedback—helping players see, understand, and correct their movements with precision.
We also believe speed and agility should never exist in isolation. Instead of running disconnected cones-and-ladders workouts, we integrate movement, change of pace, and directional mechanics directly into ball work and technical patterns. This approach ensures that players don’t just move faster—they move with purpose, control, and soccer-specific intelligence.
Small cohorts allow us to match athletes with peers who challenge and support them, while still delivering individualized attention. This environment accelerates technical development, sharpens soccer IQ, and builds confident, creative players who grow together in a setting that is both demanding and deeply encouraging.
TESTIMONIALS
“My daughter recently completed small-group training with SXA and it was such a great experience. The sessions were thoughtfully structured and it was clear that Mingo had put a great deal of planning and intention into each one. Mingo is one of the most knowledgeable coaches we’ve met when it comes to soccer and he is an incredible teacher - patient, encouraging, and excellent at providing constructive feedback. My daughter genuinely enjoyed the sessions, which not only focused on building strong technical skills but also placed meaningful emphasis on mentality and the mental side of the game. By the time her season started, we noticed a real difference in her footwork - she was more confident, willing to try new moves, and more creative on the field. We’re so grateful for the growth and confidence she gained from training with Mingo.”

"My daughter has been attending SXA clinics for nearly six months, and the improvement in her soccer skills has been outstanding. Mingo’s thoughtful mix of drills helps develop well-rounded players and seamlessly complements her team training. The small-group format truly sets SXA apart—it allows Mingo to give personalized attention, challenge each player appropriately, and bring out their best.
In addition to the clinics, SXA’s game-film feedback has given her valuable insight into how to improve during real game situations—far beyond what we could have provided on our own.
We’re absolutely committed to staying with SXA."
